Dress Code

Compliance with the Club dress code by all Members supports the tradition, decorum and dignity of our Club.  This dress code applies to the practice facilities, practice holes, putting greens and golf courses from the time of your arrival.  Members must ensure that their family and guests are dressed appropriately.  Guests, in particular, should be advised of the Club dress code before they arrive at the Club.   The Club dress code is as follows:

 

Men Golfers:


a. Shirts must have a collar or turtleneck (mock of 1½ inch minimum collar height from seam). Shirts preferred to be tucked in.

 

b. Hats preferred to be forward facing.

 

c. Slacks or golf shorts (mid-thigh length) are acceptable.  Shorts shall be kept neat and pressed at all times and must be in good taste.  Shorts and pants must be worn at the crest of the hip.

 

Women Golfers:

 

a. Golf shirt without sleeves must have collar or mock.

b. Golf skort, shorts, slacks and yoga pants are acceptable. 

 

Junior Golfers:

 

a. Dress on the Golf Course is the same as for adult golfers.

 

b. Dress on the Practice Facilities – Ages 10 and over – is the same as for adult golfers.

 

Shoes - All Golfers:

 

a. Only smooth soled tennis shoes or soft spiked golf shoes are permitted.

 

Not permitted on the Golf Courses:

 

a. Denim of any color.


b. Tank tops, halter-tops, midriff baring shirts, sweatpants, pajamas, tennis shorts/skorts, short shorts, jogging shorts, t-shirts, cut-offs, warm-up suits, swim trunks, cargo shorts, string tied or elastic sports wear (such as basketball apparel, gym clothing or work-out gear).


c. Metal spikes on shoes.

 

d. Any questionable golf attire is at the discretion of the Director of Golf.
